When visiting our garden, expect to spend 30+ minutes walking the garden selecting your plants. Unlike walk-in nurseries, Antioch Daylily Garden is a real farm. No plants are dug until they are selected. All orders are dug in the order in which they were received. Many customers come and make their selections and then leave to have lunch or do shopping. Others take advantage of our lawn chairs and shade trees. Keep in mind that daylilies are one of the best plant investments you can make, virtually indestructible, incredibly long lived and easily propagated. Daylilies really are the perfect addition to any and all landscapes.
Our customers tell us repeatedly that our plants are of top size and quality and that a very high percentage bloom the first year after planting. We will always give you our very best effort to make your experience with us a very positive one.
We are open the last two weekends in June and the first two weekends in July for browsing and purchasing daylilies. (We call these DAYLILY DAYS) We are not open on Sundays. Customers are welcome by appointment anytime before and after Daylily Days. We will ship orders starting the first week of April and ship until the end of October.
Shipping Charges are as follows:
- 01 to 04 plants = $10.00
- 05 to 09 plants = $12.00
- 10 to 14 plants = $14.00
- 15 to 19 plants = $18.00
- 20 and up......... = $22.00
